• 3 Grinders can put out 500-1500 feet per day depending upon material
• Work piece is not supported between centers as it is rotated against the grinding wheel
• Pre-grind and finish grind is done on a variety of products:
  • Spray metal plungers
  • Chrome plated plungers
  • Valve rods
  • Pull tube
  • Polish rods
• Typical surface finishes are about 10 RMS (Quinn specs call for a minimum of 16 RMS finish)
• Diamond bond wheel, high stock removal
• Maintain tolerance of 0.0005” over 36 feet.
