Introduction
The new Quinn “Frac Pump” is a revolutionary design which provides oil producers with a superior pumping system. This system is capable of handling a variety of abrasives, such as frac sand, formation sand and formation fines. The pumping system is a unique configuration of both new materials as well as an improved pump design. The design creates a virtual plunger seal to prevent any particulates from coming in between the plunger assembly and the barrel. This minimizes wear as well as increases pump efficiencies by eliminating most of the slippage. This is accomplished by using new processes, such as our duplex chrome plating and new advanced carbide and polymer materials.
Description
Standard features include insert guided cages, titanium carbide balls & seats, and a top check assembly. However, current designs also allow for the flexibility of 6 different Plunger and polymer configurations which can effectively be matched to a variety of well characteristics.
