Quinn’s began operations in 1965 as a two man pump shop located in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada by Jim Quinn.  In 1974, Quinn’s started manufacturing pump parts because delivery time from manufacturers was taking upwards of six months.

Since 1965, Quinn's Oilfield Supply has grown to become the largest Canadian manufacturer of reciprocating rod pumps in the world. We are capable of producing complete pumps ranging in sizes from 1 1/16" to 7 3/4."

Jim’s son, Doug started working at the company full time in 1991 after retiring from competitive hockey and completing his BA in Economics and a Management minor from the University of Calgary.  Jim retired in 1996 at which point Doug became Quinn’s new President & CEO.

schematics Since manufacturing began in 1974, Quinn's has continually re-invested capital back into the company to upgrade our equipment and our manufacturing facility. Quinn's has had 11 expansions in our manufacturing plant since 1971.

Along with our manufacturing capabilities for reciprocating pumps, Quinn's has expanded into the PC market through distribution of Netzsch Progressive Cavity pumps, Drive Head reconditioning facility in Swift Current and a distributor of Tenaris sucker rod.

Quinn's is recognized as a longtime leader in the service and repair of reciprocating rod pumps with 18 facilities across Western Canada.

Quinn Pumps USA is continually seeing growth with 20 facilities situated throughout New Mexico, Texas, Mississippi, California and Alabama supported by a new manufacturing facility in Midland Texas that opened in 2006.

We at Quinn’s are proud of our history and accomplishments, and look forward to continuing to be a Leader in Workmanship, Quality & Service.
